Creating a Campaign

FundiFI = Brand name shown to the user (e.g. “AdminiFI”, “FundiFI”, “FaithForward”)
Fundraising = Friendly name of this module (default: “Fundraising”)
Gift = Preferred term for a gift (e.g. “Donation”, “Gift”)
Gifts = Plural version of Gift
Supporters = Plural version of “Donor” (e.g. “Supporters”)

Creating a Campaign

Overview

Learn how to launch a focused fundraising effort with clear goals, dates, and messaging. Campaigns keep giving organized and motivate Supporters with visible progress.

Time to complete: 3–5 minutes
Difficulty: Beginner
Prerequisites: Access to Fundraising and at least one Fund & GL Account configured


Quick Start

  1. Open the Assistant – press Ctrl + K or click the icon.
  2. Describe your campaign in plain English, e.g.
    “Create a new campaign called Summer Appeal, goal $10,000, starts July 1, ends July 31.”
  3. The Assistant opens the form and pre-fills the details.
  4. Review & tweak anything you like, then click Create Campaign.
  5. Keep the Assistant open for quick follow-ups (e.g. “Show me that campaign’s link.”).

Method 2: Manual Navigation

  1. Go to Fundraising → New Campaign.
  2. Complete the required fields (red asterisks).
  3. Add optional extras (description, image, thank-you message).
  4. Link the right Fund and GL Account.
  5. Toggle Display Progress Bar / Allow Recurring Donations as needed.
  6. Click Create Campaign.

🤖 Assistant Tip: The richer your first prompt, the less typing you’ll do in the form.

Best Practices

✅ Do This

  • Set a clear, realistic Goal Amount.
  • Use a compelling, on-brand Campaign Image.
  • Write a warm, impact-focused Thank-You Message.
  • Link to the correct Fund for clean accounting.
  • Turn on Recurring Donations for evergreen campaigns.

After Creating a Campaign

  1. Share the link – grab the Donate URL and add it to your site, email, and socials.
  2. Promote – newsletters, social posts, events, you name it.
  3. Monitor progress – live dashboard or ask the Assistant: “How’s our Summer Appeal doing?”
  4. Thank donors – review auto-receipts and schedule additional stewardship.
  5. Close out – once the End Date passes, switch Status to Archived and run final reports.
